About National Pastime

It's 1933, the country is trying to fight its way out of the Depression, and no one has been harder hit than the sleepy burg of Baker City. Its main industry, radio station WZBQ, is on the verge of going under and taking the town with it. Enter Karen, a fast-talking attorney from Chicago whose father owned the station. Along with the handsome station manager Barry, they hatch a desperate scheme to bring back WZBQ's glory days, when they broadcast the exploits of the Cougars, a team which can't lose.

The only problem is that
the Cougars don't exist any more.
